The Minor Box Lacrosse season typically begins around mid-April and runs until mid-June, with playoffs taking place thereafter until the end of June. Provincial tournaments take place in July.

Rockyview Lacrosse has “A” teams at the Peewee to Midget divisions. Tryouts for these teams will commence in early March. Any player wishing to tryout for the “A” teams can do so. Regular Evaluations will commence after the “A” tryouts conclude.

There are typically 1 practices and 1 game per week. Games are played in arenas through the City with possible travel to Cochrane, Airdrie, Strathmore, High River, Okotoks (depending on the division).

Game Lengths:

  • Mini-Tyke/Tyke – 30 min practice/30 min game
  • Novice – 1 hour
  • Peewee – 1.25 hours
  • Bantam – 1.50 hours
  • Midget – 1.50 hours
